Jubla is an app for remembering the days that matter, developed by Smilio ("we", "us"). This policy explains how Jubla handles your information. In short: the days you keep stay on your device, and we collect nothing about you. Jubla has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking.
None. Jubla does not ask for your name, email, or any other personal information, and it does not require an account. We operate no servers and receive no data about you — nothing you do in Jubla is sent to Smilio.
The people you add, their birthdays, any anniversaries or other dates you keep for them, and your private notes are saved locally on your device. They are not uploaded, and everything is removed if you delete the app.
Jubla does not read your Contacts. It never asks for access to them. A birthday is something you type, or something its owner tells you — which is the whole idea of the app, and the reason it does not need that permission at all.
If you allow notifications, Jubla schedules reminders on your device so a birthday does not pass unnoticed. They are created and delivered locally by iOS. No reminder is sent through a server, and declining notifications leaves the rest of the app working normally.
Jubla can send someone a link so they can fill in their own date rather than you guessing it. This feature talks to an invite server that you enter yourself in Settings. Until you enter one, Jubla makes no network requests at all.
If you do configure one, what travels to it is the invite you created — a short code, the name you are asking about, and the date that person types in. Your wider list of people never leaves the device. If that server is one we operate, this policy will be updated to say exactly what it stores before the feature ships.
Jubla contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not build any profile about you.
Because Jubla collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
