Need a hand, found a bug, or have an idea? We'd love to hear from you.
Can Jubla import birthdays from my contacts?
No, and that is deliberate. Birthdays in Contacts are usually missing, stale, or lack the year. Jubla asks you to add the people who matter, so the list stays short and the dates stay right.
How do I get reminded?
Allow notifications when Jubla asks, and it schedules reminders on your device. If you decline, everything else still works — you just won't be nudged.
Can I ask someone for their own birthday?
Yes. Jubla can create a link the other person opens to type their own date, with nothing to install and no account for them. It needs an invite server set in Settings; until one is set, Jubla stays entirely offline.
Is it only for birthdays?
No. A birthday sits at the centre of each person, but you can keep anniversaries and other dates that matter alongside it — a wedding, the day you met, the day someone was lost. Those stay yours and are never shared, even with a person you are connected to.
Where is my data kept?
On your device. Nothing is uploaded to us, and everything is removed if you delete the app.
